Unity Shoppe Food Drive

U   Unity Shoppe Food Drive As a reminder, there is a Unity Shoppe box in every classroom to collect food donations for local families in need. We will be collecting the donations through December 11th. The items most needed are: cereal peanut butter dried rice dried pinto beans canned tuna canned whole corn canned tomatoes canned peaches canned soup (chicken/vegetable) Thank you so much for your thoughtful donation! Safe Routes to School Meeting Our Safe Routes to School Committee has been working with Cold Spring alum and founder of the Bucket Brigade, Abraham Powell, as well as city and county officials and Montecito Trails to create safe pathways to school for our children. We have arranged for the Safe Routes to School Committee to meet via Zoom instead of the scheduled walk with Abe Powel and Ashley Mayfield. Our meeting will begin tomorrow morning at 8:45am. Welcome Back to School 2020-2021

  August 3, 2020 Dear Cold Spring Parents: I am very pleased to share the accompanying  Welcome Back to School Video  outlining our August 18, 2020 Remote Learning start to the school year.  I am also providing a link to our  Remote/Distance Learning Plan .  Under the current Santa Barbara County Public Health Department (SBCPHD) directives, the video and the Remote/Distance Learning Plan outline the essential information you will need for the start of this academic year. I want to reiterate that we continue to plan for in-person learning. We are pursuing a waiver from the SBCPHD directive mandating remote/distance learning. Our primary objective is to re-enter to school and provide in-person learning. We believe we can safely achieve this by maintaining small class size/cohorts and outdoor learning spaces. We continue to plan for both Remote/Distance Learning and an In-Person start to the school year in the event we receive the waiver. I will keep you info...
