  August 3, 2020 Dear Cold Spring Parents: I am very pleased to share the accompanying  Welcome Back to School Video  outlining our August 18, 2020 Remote Learning start to the school year.  I am also providing a link to our  Remote/Distance Learning Plan .  Under the current Santa Barbara County Public Health Department (SBCPHD) directives, the video and the Remote/Distance Learning Plan outline the essential information you will need for the start of this academic year. I want to reiterate that we continue to plan for in-person learning. We are pursuing a waiver from the SBCPHD directive mandating remote/distance learning. Our primary objective is to re-enter to school and provide in-person learning. We believe we can safely achieve this by maintaining small class size/cohorts and outdoor learning spaces.
